Today I picked up the 1984 non-commemorative nickel Voyageur dollar, thus completing the date set for 1968-1986. I know it is probably the easiest one to complete, but it still feels good to have all the dates and all.

Well, I am working on the silver voyageur dollars, but will likely never finish that set due to the key dates being out of my price range. Next will probably be either nickels or small cents. Or possibly nickel half dollars.

If you are considering nickel dollars or halfs, then I would recommend that you contact SPP. He will help you in the perfect way.

Now, go for the nickel dollar varieties!

Well Done Mate I completed a date set of Canadian Halves (1937 to date) a couple of years ago with a heap of help from the Canadian contingent of CCF Without this help I would have struggled terribly as these coins are super hard to get hold of in Australia. Whichever set you are thinking of collecting next don't be shy about asking for assistance from the Canadian Mob, As they are a great bunch of collectors and will always help someone out that is struggling

You should put a 1987 in there as well. My pure nickel collection for 10, 25, 50 cents and $1 is a mix of circulation and mint set coins. I used mint set caribou quarters to fill the 1997-2000 where no caribou ones were released for circulation. Just a few ideas to make it more of a challenge and fun :)
Good job, btw!
