Are Die Chips, Die Chips Or Just Coin Chips?

I think die chips are extremely rare and virtually non-existent.
We would see the resultant metal deposits much more frequently.
Any thoughts?

Die chips are very common.

Depends on how many coins you have looked at,I have looked at about 1.3 million cents and see die chips a lot.

A die chip is a little hole in the die..allowing planchet metal to flow in upon striking...you will find things inbedded from time to time adding extra metal,cloth and so on. They are not all little pieces of the die being left behind, if thats what your thinking.
