The Uncirculated sets (also called "Prooflike" sets) came from the Royal Canadian Mint packaged in cellophane wrap. There were also a couple of different velvet lined hard case sets for Specimen coins. The clear hard plastic cases were put together by collectors and dealers. You would have to check the coins individually to see what condition they are in. I'm pretty sure you can still buy the hard plastic cases for year sets.
