I'm going by mintage figures here. This is my top 10:

1955-D (563 million)
1946-D (315 million)
1918 (288 million)
1943-D Steel (217 million)
1946-S (198 million)
1947-D (194 million)
1943-S Steel (191 million)
1953-S (181 million)
1948-D (172 million)
1926 (157 million)

I can cross 1955-D and 1947-D off that list! Found them today in a bank box, along with an 1898 IHC!

For me it's the ""elusive"" 1945-D.
Never found one, had to fork over 2.25 for a CHBU one to complete my wheat set (still missing keys).

Yeah, I know what you mean 1962penny. That 1945-D was missing from my collection for 2 years until I found one a couple of weeks ago. D mints are tough in Massachusetts...

Now for me its the "elusive" 1946-D. Next Friday is my birthday, and Friday is my bank pickup day. I'm going to splurge and get 2 boxes this time I'll let you know if I find any more on my common hole filler list. (And hopefully some not on the list!)
