Where did you get all those rolls?

ebay of course!! :D Some guy who was selling them by the pound.

Unfortunately, I had them for almost a year now and didn't realize the fun of variations until last week. If you're truly interested, I'll see if I can find his name.

No problem pattiewhack.

I got them from rgment1 on his 'Truly Unsearched Very Tight Bank Wrapped Wheats 09-19!'

Now, just posting the date of the coins convinces me that they were searched, but hey... at least I was able to fill in several slots of my small cent book.

That's proof of one thing...they might have been searched, but by whom and for what? If someone is pulling out the semi-key stuff out of bags and wrapping up everything else, it's still unsearched in my opinion. There are a number of nice die varieties to be found that bring hefty premiums, especially in the earlier dates.

I have found that going to estate auctions is a great source of coins, esp. Lincoln cents. Generally the collector had looked at them for keys as coppercoins believes, but they generally have no idea about variations. I went to one last weekend and bought quite a lot and have just started going thru them. I have already found a 1934 Wash. Quarter DDO in VG+ condition. As soon as I get the camera out I will post a pic of it.

If you are going to buy from him, this is some of the feedback that I left. It gives you a good idea of the spread of coins. The quality rarely went over Fair.

Coins were 10p,11p,14p,16pd,17pds,18pds,19pd. Good quality coins.
Coins were of 09p,10p,14p,16p,17pds,18pd,19pd. Good quality coins.
