I think this ike was polished or plated. I have rejected him for going into my Dansco album.
Please let me know what you THINK or KNOW about it.

It's 22.8 grams
The rim feels like it wants to slip out of your hands
The surface is very smooth ( I rubbed my finger on it)
I also scratched the rim and saw it's copper underneath
The whole coin is shiney chrome color
(Even the rim)

Is it worth anything or just face value?
I paid like two dollars a long time ago.

Thanks for the fast reply!

@Coop while your on,
Is there any such thing like 1954 D/S or D/D Franklin half dollar?
I have one that looks like D over D but not sure if it's dirt or PMD.

I would have to investigative it now.

Hmm, if it's mercury the coin isn't safe.

It is pretty slippery.
