rachums107 Pillar of the Community United States 3345 Posts	Posted 11/09/2013 1:10 pm So I get emails from Heritage and they sent me an email (which a lot of you probably got too) about some of the coins that were sold in an auction a few days ago that ended up bringing in over $11.3 Million. WOW! That's a lot of money for a few shiny pieces of round metal Anyway I was checking out some of the coins and I figured I would post some of them here so you guys could see. Even with the damage, still an expensive coin. http://coins.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleN...ws-tem110913 An 1893-S MS64 Morgan dollar! Absolutely stunning! A bunch of truly magnificent coins. There were a lot more, but I'm sure you can find the rest of them online somewhere. Anyway I wish I got to post on here more often. I'm in college and I don't get too. But I will be home, obviously, for Christmas break for a few weeks and hopefully I can post more then. And do some roll searching if I find the time! SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 11/09/2013 11:18 pm I literally just got done looking at a few MS 1921 Morgans carrying the Newman provenance at Heritage. I expect them to hammer at a premium - Heaven knows I'd overbid for a Newman coin - but they're still going to be relatively affordable coins. I don't expect they'll be the only ones. Look for what you like in that collection. It's huge. You never know. There are 500 circulated coins in the collection. Yeah, I want the Proof Quarter. Report this Post to the Staff
