worth at least the price of gold, but, I would expect it would be worth a bit more. :)

Mintmark would be on the reverse near the date. No mintmark = Philadelphia.

Just post head on pics of both sides so we can give a better assessment to the condition and value
Looking forward to it, I love old gold

Without better pics I doubt anyone will feel comfortable saying. Value is directly related to grade, which its near impossible to do with these pics. Sorry, I'm not trying to be a jerk or bash your photo skills.. Again, it's jut due to the fact that value is directly related to grade and wether the surface is origional (not cleaned) and to tell definitively pretty good head on shots are needed.

I'll take a leap of faith and state the following about your coin:
1) Appears to be genuine 2) Appears to be undamaged 3) Appears to have AU Detail
Based on that a value guesstimate would be $250 retail.

I'll bet you could sell that at the coin shop in the mall and then walk to the camera shop and buy a good camera

With a coin in your shape, I have seen coin shops pay from $90 to $160. It would be easier to tell with the coin in hand. Of course they would try and sell it for more.
