Hello Forum members! I have posted an image below of what I believe is a one of kind Washington quarter. I think it is an example of the well known (or is it not well known?) "Heart Headed Washington" Quarter. I am going to wait until Valentines day, next year to list this rarity on ebay. I will however consider selling it now for $75,000.00 cash to any member in good standing. Let me say first that I am not really a coin collector and I don't really know if it's worth anything as my Grandmother actually found the coin. It could be real, or not real but either way I really do have this coin!!! So folks I would appreciate your opinion on this "rare" and unusual "variety"(or is it truly an Error?) of Washington quarter. I would have posted a picture of the reverse, but my digital camera just ran out of pixels. Have a wonderful day and I look forward to your comments!!! Uncle Mike

garylscr, that sell it now offer to a CC Member in good standing was $75,000.00,($20's,$50's and $100's in plain envelope please!) not a paltry $75.00! If you are interested mail the proceeds to... Benjamin Dover P.O. Box 01812, Anytown USA, 010101 A real steal in my opinion although I can't guarantee a thing about this coin except as I stated before I do have it...really. With a full offer I will throw in free shipping within 1 mile of my home, otherwise add $1.00 per mile as the crow flies(my crow only). Gee whiz, I can't just give this possibly rare error away !!! However, as Susan pointed out it does show some signs of possible circulation that may hold it back a bit. I think it is a weak strike along with a little cabinet friction so I may consider taking a few dollars less. I also noticed that the 3 in the date looks a little funny...... The more I think about it, and as I have never seen one, not even a "blurry" picture of one perhaps this is a discovery coin!!!Yippee! Uncle Mike

That won't work. The post office subcontracts all of their lost package shipping to Einstein Express™.
Einstein Express™ - When it positively, absolutely has to be there by yesterday.
