i got this recently for $40 and wonder if it is VG or F. Thalers from this series seems to have quite a bit of wear around the king's hair. It weights 21.88g and has a metallic silver look with no rim damage.

Not a bargain for $40, but I would have seriously considered to buy it myself, if the opportunity had come my way.

It's probably F. These always look like a lower grade than they are because the bust is kind of plain and doesn't have much detail to begin with.
