When people sell "Rolls" of various denominations: Cents, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, Halves, Dollars - how many coins in a roll?

Hi yechi7. For American coins they are as follows...
Cents.....50 coins per standard roll
Nickels...40 coins per standard roll
Dimes.....50 coins per standard roll
Quarters..40 coins per standard roll
Halves....20 coins per standard roll
Dollars, Ike's, Morgan and Peace Series......20 coins per standard roll
Dollars, Sackie's, Suzy B's and Pres'Series... 25 coins per standard roll


Thanks to chevrolet454ss I corrected the dollar numbers to reflect the "modern" issues numbers per standard roll.....
Many times people list half rolls....simply divide the above figures. I hope this helps! Mike

Hi,

Its not 20 coins on new dollars . On the susan, George Washinton its 25 coins per roll. He may correct it is 20 on the ikes, morgons, peace.
