Yep, 70 all right. I know darn well you got it at a reasonable price, because people don't get up early enough to fool you. May I assume you've already freed it from that ridiculous plastic clown suit?

I wanted to do an article on SGS but it's such an icky topic, I thought I'd rather do something on Walter Breen instead.

I think I bought an SGS graded coin about 8 or 9 years ago... and wondered then how the heck they got away with the grading. Lessons learned... but not a very expensive one.

Dave, oh trust me, the shop owner is perfectly well aware of SGS's grading standards. I snickered while typing that. I paid a reasonable price for it. BUT, it IS still in that plastic. LOL I just did not bother yesterday. Perhaps tonight after work. Though I am considering leaving it in there. Just to say, hey! I have an SGS coin. I am weird that way.

When you say SGS, the MS70 is implied.

An absolute MS70 beauty! Nice hits in front of the nose too!
I'm about to send a bunch of Colonials to SGS. I hope they come back MS70 :-)
