I was looking for an type set album and since the 7070s have been in limbo, I decided to check out the Intercept Shield Type Set. The description at Wizard Coin Supply - http://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/pro...es-type.html - states : "Note that this album was manufactured with a hole for the Braided Hair Large Cent that is too small."

I did a search here and the only post I could find was from almost two years ago: https://goccf.com/t/92860&whichpage=4#939783 The poster indicates there is a problem with the 20 cent hole as well.

Anyone have similiar experiences with this typeset album? Is there a workaround or should I just continue to wait for Dansco?

There is a member auction going on that has a Dansco 7070 right now here at CCF!

(Not my auction). I have heard the Large cent holes in many albums are usually too large, not just a Intercept album issue, so many of the Large cents are slightly off in diameter it makes sense that would be an issue.

A dremel carefully used should open up a tight port for you.

I like Intercept Shield albums.
All my raw collections are in them.

Didn't know they had one for a type set.
But my type set is all slabbed so such an album wouldn't have helped anyway.

Just contacted my coin supply house (Transline) regarding the Dansco 7070 album. Still no word from them. Not even a solid estimated date when they will be out.
