Hi.

Good eye.

It's a misaligned die (MAD). An off-center strike would be off on both sides of the coin.

I don't see doubling -- I think whet you're seeing is the copper running away from the zinc. That happens a lot.

All those streaks in the fields has caught my eye. Could be gas bubbles but it's kind of different looking.

Hang on and let's hope an expert comes along with more information.

I agree completely. It's a slight misaligned die, completely within mint tolerance, so it wouldn't be considered an error. And again, the "doubling" is the splitting of the copper layer.

Buddy & ErrorCoins Thanks for the info. I am definitely learning alot from the forum so far!

Drillman: The pictures were actually taken with an iPhone 5s. The zooms are through the eyepiece of my little microscope. The microscope has a light mounted on it which is really nice. Its surprising how easy it is to take a picture through the eyepiece.
Rest in Peace

You're welcome.

I have learned more here than I have from any other source on coins.

Today I learned that I should get a better phone.

Haha. I just got this phone 2 weeks ago. The camera has been really excellent! Hopefully the next find I post is something good!! I'm digging through my rolls of '92 and '99 right now.
