Reverse seems to be correct. Lettering spaces etc. That seam around the rev. rim has me wondering and wanting a closer look and just to check also a look at the FG initials.

The spacing between the letters and the FG look correct to me. If it is real, Nice Find!

Something is going on the rim on the reverse and I also see marks on the obverse rim from where I assume the coin was held in place while it was hollowed out. Magicians coin is my thought

Different coins, different 2x2's. Note the alignment of the side staple on the 2005 and compare it to what looks to be a reverse circa the early to mid '80's. (EDIT: Now that I think about it, I believe this reverse type is even older, but I can't for the life of me remember since it's been so long since I searched cents on a regular basis) So the only way this is real is if the coin has a rotation and somehow they managed to pull a die out that sat around unused for 20+ years. Note the top staple on the 2005 has a second hole punched for each prong, as if the staple was removed then redone, and this unique feature isn't visible thanks to some "lucky" cropping on the older reverse. Also note that the corners of the 2x2 are hidden from us, that would lock up the alignment for sure since we can't see all three staples. However, given the evidence, I feel 100% confident in saying this coin is not a true Wide AM. I don't mean to call anybody out, nor to offend anybody, I just want to point out my observations, and I think the OP is joking around. It's quite possible it's the same coin and same 2x2, and he has a Magicians coin here, but I don't believe that it is.

Hi guys I will be uploading more pictures around the same time I posted last night. To answer some of the questions that are here, I did take it out of the 2x2 and I did weigh the coin & it weighed 2.43 or 2.41 grams & the one thing that I noticed is that the reverse is at an angle. That should clear that up. Also , yes my concern is the rim as well. That's why I said the reverse looks like a mule and the reverse looks like its from a 79 or an 80 or so.

I did some vector analysis involving the staples and the front of the coin does align with the back. So at least it's the same coin. So yeah, most likely a Magician's coin, but with a zinc front and copper reverse. (had to edit my original post which was opposite of what I concluded now)

Its an altered coin with a copper reverse. Two piece put together. Its obvious with the rim. You can see it.

Suspicious looking rim, I'd like to see pics without the flip.

I found this coin in a coin roll.I posted this so an expert could take a look at it. Can someone please explain why it would not be real in detail & in terms that a newbie can understand?, cause I am a newbie, I've only been coin roll hunting for 1 year. Also, watching everyone of you guys' posts. I did weigh the penny,if you look at previous posts. Is that correct weight for it? I am not trying to fool anyone just trying to find out if I have a rare find. I don't know which one of you guys is the real experts here? If it is fake, why would someone do this? and how?, if its a fake coin.

Oh boy ! Keep it. Do not DESTROY it. Good conversation piece at the least. It cannot harm anyone (unless they swallow it) Even then it will most likely pass. 99.999% that it's an altered coin. But I like it. Whether it was done intentionally or just for fun cannot be proved. You can see the diff. on the obv. zinc and the rev. copper. Color/tone says it all. The wear/details on the rev. does not match the obv. also.

I've cleaned up some unnecessary posts in this thread. Please continue to discuss. A reminder: Rudeness is not tolerated. Thank you to those in here who did not resort to it.
Carry on.
