RCM's world-renowned milk spots and their "So What?" attitude drove me away from Maples and I haven't bought any for some time now, but... I think I'll make an exception and get some of these. This one's a milestone. Plus---Provident's got them for $1.30 more than the regular 2013 Maple, so the price isn't too bad.

Got a notice today from Provident, that these were available for pre-sale. Not particularly attractive, nor, at a million mintage , going to be particularly rare. But at $26 dollars, how can you go wrong?

They have four different versions of the 25th anniversary in the 1 oz. size. and one of them is high relief, mintage 10k, but they want $100 for it. The other has select gold plating, also 10k mintage, but $110. The other also 10k mintage, a fractional silver set, for $200. Then, you got this other million mintage unit which will flood the market. Oh, and two 25th anny 5 oz. versions.

I would love to... I was also interested in the 2013 maple with snake privy and the 2014 with horse privy marks. Shipping to Canada is $26 though and I think shipping to the US is free. Would any of you gentlemen sell me one?

Kinda cool design choice how they overlapped the 25 and the leaf like that.

Im not a maple fan, but the high relief ones is really cool. It jumps off the coin in hand

Yuk.
I've got more Canadian bullion coins than from any other country but that design for 25 years is just AWFUL.
Couldn't they have come up with a unique maple leaf design to celebrate a quarter of a century instead of just stamping a giant "25" onto a normal maple leaf design?

I like them better than the standard CML, bought 2 from Provident. I also picked up a 25th Ann. High Relief version, this is a real beauty.

If it doesn't have milk spots, it's a fake. :P That's how you know they're genuine.
It's kind of cool how the leaf intertwines with the digits. But why the mint insists on being a year late for their 25th anniversaries is beyond me. It's year 26!

2013 is the first year I bought CML's and after buying 27 of them, there isn't a milk spot on them.

Welder---One of the many delightful things about the famous RCM milk spots is that they aren't always present when the product is shipped. Sometimes they show up later on. You just never know. Count yourself lucky so far, but inspect your coins every few months or so. The game isn't over yet. The RCM Milk Spot Fairy may well still pay you a visit some night...

I was not aware that they have been minting the Maple Leafs for 25 years.
So another coin for my want list.
