PCGS MS-66 Vs NGC MS-67 - Coin Community Forum

I realize the question of PCGS vs NGC has been addressed in other threads, but some active auctions on ebay that give a specific example was one I thought worth bringing up. Let's say you have a choice to buy as set of steel Lincoln pennies for 1943, one from each of 3 mints, all graded. The choice is, would you prefer to have a set of PCGS's graded at MS66 or an NGC set graded at MS67? And, why? IMHO there is a bigger value differentiation (such that it is) between 66 and67, than there is between PCGS and NGC. Report this Post to the Staff

Given the same price - I'd go with the NGC because you're guaranteed they would grade at least 66 with PCGS if crossed. Lincoln Cent Lover!
