Lookin for some info on these 2.

The George Washington one I have seen before but forgot where. The Transit token is from my brother in laws home town of Decatur, AL.

As for the Washington piece, this old CCF thread has this exact same medal. There's also a link in there to an even older thread with other medals from the same series.

It looks familiar. I always assumed it was from some kind of promo or gas station giveaway.

Here is a medal which looks to be from a different set of Presidents. This one is a little bit larger and has "The Osborne Register Co. Cincinatti Ohio" on the reverse.

I wondered what on Earth "American Fabious" meant. Googling the phrase mainly comes up with pages talking about this medal, or pages talking about a ship by that name (which was presumably named after Washington in this oblique sort of way).

It's apparently an allusion to Fabius Maximus, the Roman dictator/general whose strategy of non-confrontation in the face of a superior enemy stopped Hannibal from conquering Italy. Given there was a ship in the Virginia State Navy named thus in 1781, I assume it was a title bestowed on Washington during his lifetime.
