its a type 2 nickel, other than that I don't know

Looks around PO-1. I think I can see a circle were the date should be... closer to the bottom so probably a 6 (maybe a zero, but looks to short). I think 19X6...

I don't know about the date, but I would give this buffalo a grade of FR-2. With a PO-1, LIBERTY would be gone or almost gone. So would most of the legend on the reverse.
