doesn't even look like the same coin... ( color ) aside from that I would still say AU 58 ICCS maybe a 60 ?

PCGS might go MS 62 but the toning might affect that

Initially I said au55.

Now I'm saying au55 to ms64.

I'm really puzzled on this one.

It all depends how ICCS judges the 'flat' spot above the ear.

Weak strike?....then it's ms63 or ms64.

Wear?.....then it's au55 to au58.

Marbury, is there any way you could post a tighter crop of the hair?

The eyelid (not the eyebrow) still looks good and untouched to me.(but still a bit blurry or very dull lightning in these newer pics)

Funny how very often a good camera shot gets 'some' of the coin in perfect focus whereas these scans always show "a touch" out of focus.

Big risk when you buy off of someone else's pics. For me...A coin of this value should be seen 'in hand' before risking such a purchase.

I'm still feeling that it's a great MS coin...

Unfortunately if I saw every such coin in hand I'd never have a chance to buy much or would be pretty poor as traveling in this country is very expensive. When you have a job it makes it almost impossible to travel much anyway.

Well, it went of to ICCS this morning, along with 1909 10c broad leaves, 1903 5c large H, and a few others (8) in all.

When I bought this coin the auction house said it was graded according to Whitman Haxby system/scale.........is that the same as Sheldon or not? That said AU55 by Whitman Haxby....

AU-58, It looks like there might be some light friction on the hair.

Beautiful coin just the right amount of toning. I think it will maybe make low MS. 60-63.
