Just let the scan do the talking on this one. It will go to ICCS with a couple of other high grade coins shortly. Edited by marbury518 11/17/2013 7:57 pm

A very nice coin.
It may just be the quality of the picture, but I don't think it'll grade MS.
I'm thinking au55.

My guesstimate is "at least" MS 63...from the smallish supplied pics.
An absolute beauty with wonderful toning as an added bonus. Thanks for sharing it with us marbury..

Thought the hair and crown looked excellent with clear fields........though the date looks a little worn...you are the second person to say 63 but there were also those who said 55 which is worry...will have overpaid if 55....waiting for another coin to arrive before it can go off to ICCS....

To me the date (the 9.. etc) is not worn but just showing weakness in that part of the die.
Look at the eye lid and let that be an important guide for you. Most often with a vicky piece .."any start of wear" will show up on the highest part of the eye lid and it will show some flattening at that point.
marbury...It's a really beautiful coin...and bigger pics here will never hurt...We are allowed 100 kbs per pic...
