I do not have a camera to allow better pictures. Sorry about this.
The obverse is unreadable anyway.
It seems to be Sicily (Messina).

maybe scanning the coin? Please send me highresolution picture
I seem to recognize an eagle on the second picture.
The coin may be holy roman empire, Hungaria, Poland, Germany...
The REX is a typeface that is not used in mediëval period, the coin must be later
I have seen such a coin somewhere, but I cant remember

Something this small and rough is probably not going to be three cavalli or three tari, but three piccioli. Here's one minted in Messina under Philip II of Spain. Are we getting close?

Quote:
Messina. Filippo II di Spagna, 1556-1598. Da 3 piccioli. Æ 4,14g. Aquila coronata, ad ali spiegate, stante di fronte e volta a d. Rv. + REX TRINACRIE intorno a 3. Spahr 123. MIR 339.

What we can clearly read on your reverse is REX, followed by the letter T; REX TRINACRIE looks very likely. I also think we can see the D G that follows PHILIPPVS on the obverse as well. Here's a good reference to the issue:
