Here is a 32mm bronze piece showing Spanish King Charles IV on one side and what appears to be a port (ship) in foreground and castle, with statues, behind.

I have this listed as being from Malaga, C&C #71.

I've looked up the city of Malaga in southern Spain, checking for a port and castle like that shown on this piece. Wikipedia does show a fort, called Alcazaba, but it does not look like this.

Any ideas?
Bill

Much appreciated, moneditis.

With your help, I was able to find much interesting information on this historic fort, at http://www.andalucia.com/cities/mal...bralfaro.htm

Thank you,
Bill

Thanks for sharing those commemoratives, they are very interesting, rarely seen :)
That one is beautiful - and you each time have a design to analyze and document !
