I have attached a picture of a War Nickel. Looks to be a lamination error - can anyone confirm? I am guessing this is nothing special on the War Nickels.

The other one is an unknown date jefferson. Maybe Struck Through Grease on both side? Really worn die on both sides? The edge of the coin is pretty much normal. nothing there that looks weird. Don't know. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Does the weight on the 2nd nickel seem the same like a normal nickel? It might be a thinned planchet?

Thanks for extra info on War Nickels. I just traded 30 wars and checked them all.

Coop - will try to weigh that second one. It's odd because the funkiness is on both sides.
