Hi,

Please explain what happened here on this penny.

Both the last digit of the date and mint mark appear altered.

After the explanation and documented description (if available) opine on whether this type of error could bring any additional premium over the one cent face value.

Looks like a Grease Filled Die.Sometimes they sell on ebay for a buck or two & sometimes they just don't sell

What is LHC ?

I assumed he meant a Lincoln Head Cent with reference to LHC?
