I used to collect coins as a kid (around 15+ years ago). I recently got into metal detecting two years ago, which got me into coin roll hunting a few months ago, which got me into checking out all my old collections, etc etc. haha

I had 10 or so web notes that I saved up. One from the 80's and the rest maybe 95?

I thought I would check all my bills for the last few months, which is a lot since I have been using cash more often to get more change... and I hardly see any older than 06 or 09.

Does anyone still find web notes? I know they take old notes out of circulation often and I think the average life is 13 or so months. Just curious if any are still out there to be found or if it was just good timing for me in the past.

I have not found one in many years. I found around one hundred in the late 90's early 2000's.

WEB notes were produced in the Series 88A, 93 and 95.

I have not found one in years either, although I have a nice little stash of about thirty in various conditions, which I need to sell off since I only need one.

Thanks!

That is what I thought. Not too common from what I remember even back when they were relatively new. Now that I can't even find a 95 normal note, I won't hold my breath. I'll still hope though!

I want to say I have one or two of the 93's. I know I have one 88A (just couldn't remember the exact year until it was posted). Rest were 95.

I got one a few months ago myself, a series 1988-A in pretty good shape. https://goccf.com/t/157207

I get older notes fairly often too, working as a cashier I find a Barr note almost every other week.
