Still a novice, but coin appears AU to me. AU55 would be my determination if I was basing it off the pics, which maybe could use a little more detail to ascertain an exact grade. In terms of a selling price, I think it could sell for between 30$-38$. Cool Morgan
before you sell it, just do the basics. Weigh it if you can and do the magnet test to ensure all is good. Silver should not attract a magnet.
I agree, its probably an AU coin. As for the value, it depends on where your going to get rid of it. If a dealer, they will offer close to spot silver so they have room to make some profit. On ebay, the sky is the limit, but typically I have seen coins like this go for 25-40 bucks, depending on how rabid bidders are at the end of the auction.
As a sanity check you may want to take a look at the VAM list to ensure the coin doesn't have any variety or errors. This coin doesn't appear to have a mint mark (located on back, below ribbon, south) so its minted in Philadelphia.....
