Ok folks...... Beauty and the Beast! Everyone who wants to take part in this SMACKDOWN should enter photographs of two coin obverses (or a reverse where it depicts a bust), the purpose being to show us all a beautiful bust and a shocker! To spice it up, you may also post a TLL type image next to the coin photograph with a view to gaining 5 Bonus points..... and because its dead funny. Its pretty much that simple...... Everyone is encourage to attempt an entry, (I am sure we all have two coins that fit the bill) and even those who cannot enter can and should vote, for their top 3 favorites and additionally a bonus award of 5 points to just one entry. The one off bonus of 5 points can be awarded by each voter to their favourite TLL. To clarify, the rules..... 1. Post two photographs of coin portraits, whether they portray a ruler or deity/god. One, a beauty and one a shocker. (bad hair days count too) 2. Both may be accompanied by a TLL (totally looks like) image if you choose. 3. No points/credit awarded for including the reverse so please, just the portrait. 4. Gold - 3 points Silver - 2 points Bronze - 1 point Bonus - 5 points to 1 entrant only for favourite TLL 5. Starts immediately 6. I will choose a winner if points are tied. 7. Phone lines close Wednesday 27th Nov at 2359hrs. 8. I'll tot up points and give results as soon as I can after close of play. 9. Have fun and don't blame me if it all goes pearshaped. Right here's my example, not entered of course... BeautyHieron II Syracuse Sicily 275 - 215 BC AE27 BeastURBS Roma Barbaric imitation I have not added a TLL, mainly because I am rubbish at IT and cannot put two pics together in the same frame, but you are encouraged to do so if you can. Good luck!!

OK I am not going to crop and re-upload these images so that they are only the obverse. You will just have to ignore them. Also, I thought you were going to do bonus pts if they depicted the same ruler/diety. No matter, still going to use these two. TIF you can use it as one of your coins is what I meant? and.... It doesn't matter if people put reverses on as well....it was probably stupid of me to say otherwise. Just enjoy.
