The reverse might be a bit mangled, can't make it out.

Is it possible to get a much larger image of the reverse? A preliminary guess is this one will stump me. :)

The head looks similar to Tanit?

John I have emailed it to you. For some reason I can't get it small enough to post here. (I thought I had lost it, took me 2 hours to find, phew!)

Ok, I looked... No idea on what it is. It does appear to have Artemis / Torch, and looks to be from either Ionia, Lydia or Phrygia, but I haven't been able to find it yet.
Best, John

I cannot see anything on the reverse apart from what looks like two fish fins....

Could be wings but I can't make sense of it. Don't know whether it is the right way up.

leaves, wings, fins? I think there may be something behind the bust too, maybe another bust, looks like she (whoever she is) is kissing someone.

It looks like it was tooled/smoothed with a rough hand... the original devices may have looked very different.
Size and weight may also be helpful-- as always with Greek and Provincial coins.

If you rotate the reverse 90 degrees counter clockwise it resembles a galley. It seems like I've seen these wing-like things somewhere, but I don't know. It does look pretty tooled to me as well.

Yes, I thought Galley with sails, perhaps Phoenician?, but searches came up with nothing. i'd love to see what this coin is as I have spent quite alot of time looking. I guess when we can pos ID the female then we can search with more confidence. 'Trisk', sorry shortened for brevity...has suggested Artemis etc. but could be a random Nymph. the plot thickens.

Found some letters on the coin, lower right.... Not sure how this might help, any suggestions?
