Nice coin GR58 I like your's reverse way better than mine, great surfaces. I do like (at least in the pictures) the way the ski slope is so pronounced on mine. Fun stuff!

Sunny I like the looks of your obverse too.
I was looking at HA site and see one sold in 2005 a G6 .... is the the one you mentioned earlier? I have not signed up so I don't know what it sold for.

I have been looking at the PCGS site, and trying to figure out the submission process.
What I think I Have a dealer send it in
Or
Have to join There is. $49 one year, with no free submissions. or $129 with four free submissions
With the $49 plan, I think it would cost $55 for Colonial plus $24 for variety (RR 29) Shipping $26.95 (1-4 coins) So one coin would cost $128 plus shipping (my shipping to them)
Question On the $129 plan, can this Vermont copper be used as one of the free submission? And if so would the variety fee still be $24? If the Vermont can be a free submission, then the cost is $153 to get the Vermont and three more coins graded, plus shipping (both ways)
Is this right ... Just want to be sure I am not missing anything.

Last I checked, PCGS charges $50 per Colonial. I think it's ridiculous but it is what it is.
I think the free submissions must be basic submission service.

Splendid coin and more difficult to find than the population suggests. It is a high mid level rarity and as such is on the table of most serious Vermonf collectors. I'd grade this G5. I'd not make any particular rush to slab this. Early copper collectors STILL appreciate nice raw coins. You'd be amazed how the visibility and eye appeal of copped this age and grade suffers looking through plastic. You'd be surprised to know many of the very rarest Vermonts have come from junk trays or are misattributed. Surface condition trumps grade you coin is average with nice color and good centering. Looks like the date may even show. Nice Coin it would sell high on ebay. (I'd probably be a bidder as well as others here). Save the envelope!!

Btw PCGS will call it 1788 Bust Right. I do not think they designate varieties.

I'm glad someone said that. Any collector who would shell out big bucks for a coin like this - it will not matter if it is slabbed or attributed.
