Hello everybody.
Some years ago I found in my granda garden some old coin.
I'm from Italy and I think is an old coin from the ancient Rome.
Can anyone please help me to have more information?
Thank you!

The coin is supposed to be of the emperor Trajan. It could just be the picture but I believe it's a copy.

I'm going to move this thread over to the Ancient Coin section for more comments

Its a very poor copy of a Trajan....probably meant to fool noone and sold as a tourist token or souvenir, so quite harmless.

The metal is wrong, for starters - this coin is a brass copy of a silver denarius of Trajan, a Dacia Capta type such as this one.

It's overall appearance isn't right, from the way the bust looks to the style of letters in the legends and details of the reverse image.

Tempted to say a "Tourist Fake".
The Bust style is different from the "regular" busts we have seen of Trajan.
This has a "Squashed" look to it.
However compare to comfirmed genuine examples, such as the one for sale in VCoins:

This may be due to the light, however I have owned genuine Denarii of Trajan that have a "brassy" tone to them, see the example below, RIC II 349, 2.6 g, 18.2 mm.

SobMarley, can you give a weight for that coin?
IT) SobMarley, si può dare un peso per quella moneta?
