I just found this 1983-P with Machine Doubling, Tripling, and quadrupling, depending on the device, on the reverse. The quadrupling is easy to see on the "O" in ONE, the "EN" in CENT, and the upper left of the Memorial. Sorry to hog the forum topics, but I have not seen this before, is this fairly common?

inthewomb, thanks for the kind words. I just have a inexpensive $40 digital microscope and my pics show it. Some of the people in here take amazing photos. There is a forum in here regarding coin photography: http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...?FORUM_ID=81

I hope this helps and again,

The coin was only struck once. The damage was all done on the single strike. Very sloppy machine....
