has anyone seen a 78 penny with a adams apple is this an error or have I been staring at these coins to long. If it is an error does that make it more valuable than the 2 cents its worth sorry bout the bad lighting just learning to take pics of coins

Hi freemike

Yep, you see this filling effect often enough on pennies from around 1975 to 1982. It's caused by excessive die polishing and you'll also see it at the base of the queen's hair at the back of her neck, and around the details of her face.
