No, I had slabbed a 1909-s VDB and a 1914-D because both are heavily altered/counterfeited.Used ANACS simply to get them authenticated
Ha ....... ha........so your using the two absolute rarest circulating pennies, to make your point as to why someone would submit common coins for grading ?
A collector is a collector, everyone collects what they like. Some collect lowballs, some collect sliders and some want they best example of what they collect. My kids and I have complete sets of
State Quarters from circulation, as well as an up to date collection of
ATB's from circulation. When the
Presidential dollars came out , we bought our albums and started our next set from circulation.UUnfortunately we know what happened to that. So we switched our focus and decided to collect the best of the best proofs instead. We haven't got our 2013 PF70's yet, but we have all the others. A PCGS/NGC proof presidential set is surprisingly hard to find and not cheap.
