The ones about in the 5:00 position look a bit odd to me as well as the ones at about 8:00. There is a little rim ding just to the left of the very top and for some reason it too looks a bit odd to me. Report this Post to the Staff

Chancellor Sutler Pillar of the Community United States 1372 Posts	Posted 11/30/2013 2:33 pm Guenuine, but corroded from spending time in the ground when nearly new. At some point, it spent some time in a bowl of tarn-x. I know the look ... because I have treated some V nickels that I have dug, as well as a couple dug buffalos ... and they have the same grainy appearance. I sincerely doubt that a fake would reproduce the obverse die cracks. Chance Report this Post to the Staff
