I just looks different and wanted to see what people thought. Also if there is a good link with mint errors and pictures so I can better understand what's what. Thanks

Not sure what you are seeing on the '68, but error-ref.com is a great site to learn about different types of errors.

oops! Almost forgot; your coin is an example of what is called Machine Doubling (MD). It is common and can happen to any coin, any mint or any year. It is due to the machine getting a little "loose" and not separating properly.

I am looking at the poster's Very Top coin pic, and it looks like at the top of the date, there might have been a very light "S" strike between the 9 and 6..... Guess it could be a die clash? heck I dunno
Am I seeing things ?

Check out http://www.coppercoins.com for info on copper varieties.

Check out http://www.errorvariety.com/OFD/MD.html for the differences between a Doubled Die Obverse ( DDO), Doubled Die Reverse ( DDR) and the common damage to coins called Machine Doubling (MD).
