I wanted to know do they make a Australian Type set Album or folder that has both Decimal & Pre-Decimal coins. kind of like the US 7070 set but Australian. I though I saw one at one time but I think it was older and I am looking for a somewhat newer one. But I thought this was the best place to start my search. Also if anyone has a concection to get them I might be interested in getting one depending on cost.

I don't know the answer to your question, but you could probably find out by contacting Bigfella who is a member here. He has a store in Newcastle & if this product exists, he should be able to source one for you.

I'd like to know the answer to this as well. If there is such a thing, I'd love to have one.

here is a email I got for Bigfella. Apparently Dansco do not make type set albums any more.
I have managed to find however a Dansco Supreme (7337) album.....AU$65.00 plus postage.
I can not afford to get one right now but here is what I know.

I found some of the Dansco Type set albums for only the Predecimals, for a little cheaper than $65. I've never dealt with this dealer before. (I looked up the only negative feedback he got; mail in Mexico can be notoriously unreliable. I won't hold that against this seller.) http://cgi.ebay.com/DANSCO-Folder-A...37_W0QQitemZ150105665470QQihZ005QQcategoryZ39475QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

djluster, Don't forget that AU$65 is only about US$54.50, give or take a few cents. You might be able to get it a bit sooner than you thought.

ya I figured that last night thank you. I am very short on funds so there is no coin buying or supplies of any kind as of rihgt now hopefully next month.
Has anyone done a aussie type set. Is it hard and pricey to put togther I don't know all of the coin that would be in that book.
Does anyone know if there is any other companies that make coin ablum or folder for Australian coin and might have a album for cheaper.

G'day Djluster, in Australia, I have seen three albums for "complete" sets, rather than type sets - one for predecimal 1910~1964; one for decimals 1966~ ,,,; and a combined one. This has the sheets with 42, 63 pockets, etc, to hold each denomination. The interleaves are printed with every recognized mintmark. I think the combined one was about AUD$60. I didn't get either, because I decided that I preferred 2x2s. Peter in Oz
