Man, you've got some nice 1921's. This one's a little weaker strike - slight flattening of the talons and incomplete large bottom leaves on the wreath - but still strong. I see it as a good strong 64. Shot in sunlight?

Shot with two Jansjo LED desk lamps and a daylight desk lamp.
I'll try to get up some lighter pictures.
There is a scratch on the right wing that doesn't show up well when looking at it straight on.

Solid 64. Try diffusing the light out of those Jansjo's and see if that helps. Shame about the milk shots.

I'm still comfortable with 64. If that was shot with Jansjos, they're probably at too low an angle; that's why I thought it was sunlight.

The jansjos were at a low angle. I used super-macro so the lens was about 2" away. It was the only way to get the light in without a shadow.

Gotcha; you're doing the best you can with what you've got. Remember the technique with your last set, because it's as good as you could hope for with lustrous silver. I really, really like it; the only downside is I can see two different lighting color temperatures in it. |
