So, I am still working on the 1959-D bag, making it through the 2nd pass. I did about another 500 or so coins, looking over the obverse and pulling skull cracks and die breaks. Yesterday, I found the Pothole coin. Tonight, I find this;

The Obverse looks like some one sunk Lincoln's Battleship!

The Reverse has significant lamination issues and small potholes in 3-4 different locations, mainly hugging the rim;

Coop - I did look through the canvas bag and didn't see anything significant to consider it to be part of the strike through for the Pothole coin, or even this one. I'll check the bottom of the zip lock container for debris when it is close to empty.

I'll have to get a microscope shot of the right hole. The area near Lincoln's chin looks like there is a partial "Y" on the hole's edge. We'll see if I can get anything to stand out tomorrow.

Looks like a lamination on the reverse. Struck through on the obverse.
