My local coin store has large bowls of several hundred common date coins of various denominations & varied grades, most VG-VF, to help fill my albums.

His prices:
Lincoln Wheat Cents: $.10
Indian Head cents: $1
Liberty nickels: $1.35
Buffalo nickels: No date: $.50; Partial - Full Date: $.85
Mercury dimes & Roosevelt Silver Dimes: $1
Washington Silver Quarters: $2.50
Walking Liberty half dollars: $5.25
Morgan & Peace dollars: $12

They seem like fair prices. Opinions?

Also, he has a "full set" of Washington Silver Quarters (minus the Keys), 80 coins, he offered to me for $200. They are varied grades, most look VG-VF. I'm very tempted. Opinions?

Sound like good prices to me. About the "full set" Washingtons, personally if I was you, I would try to collect them in better grades, since they aren't that old or too expensive.

Nice prices for all. In regards to the quarter set, that is a decent price. It can be a little disappointing to have a full set of something modern and then they all have moderate to heavy circulation. One way you could go about it would be to get an album, buy the $200 set since it is inexpensive, and then upgrade them one at a time with AU-BU coins. Most of the Washingtons(except for some of the 30s) can be had for $20-30 or less in AU-BU.

If you got 80 quarters, a nearly full set, $200 is pretty much at melt. Which means, it can't get much cheeper than that. But you may be able to purchase some BU quarters still for $2.50, if you do it piece by piece. But then again you will be adding $3 for shipping on ebay and dealers probably wont sell them for $2.50. But yeah can look around.

Those aren't some bad prices at all, especially the Indian Heads and Buffalo nickels, particularly because you can pick the dates (from what he has available), instead of buying bulk and hoping for the best.
