Is this Machine Doubling or something else?
In One Cent, the E's, C and T have a line under them.
Also America has a line under the A. This can be seen from the naked eye.

Not 100% sure but the 995 all looks like it's doubled. ( talking about the year, 1995)

That is split plating. During the strike the plating was split possibly because of too much force during the strike. The gray you are seeing there is the zinc underneath.
