Normal proofs are Wide AM's, if you happen to find a CAM proof it would be unusual as the WAM is for the circulation strikes. Report this Post to the Staff

joeykoins Valued Member United States 121 Posts	Posted 12/05/2013 09:15 am Yes! Like coop said, It's the '98 and '99 Proof cent that are varieties, that are closed AM. The Wide AM variety is only the business strikes(circulated)in the "98,the BIG one 99 and the'2000" The 1999 Wide AM can be worth $500 smackeroos in the right condition! I once found the '99 0n the ground. Decided to send in to grade (NGC) it came back a 64 RB. I sold it for $200. Keep hunting!-joey Report this Post to the Staff
