in the last pic is that a seam all the way through/around the rim?

The color is normal to me.

Not sure what you're trying to say. The coin
just looks circulated to me and worth a few cents.

It may have had a breif stint in a dryer to cause that "seam" on the rim. My guess anyway. Then again, I've only seen nickels that were Dryer Coins.

Basically looks like a normal old 55 Cent. That so called addtional looking rim line is common on many coins in the 80's too. Nothing out of the ordinary though.

Perhaps a partial collar? the un-collared part would be more flared out I would think though...
