I recently bought this 1728 French Silver Coin for melt. I was able to work out that it is French and from the Reign of Louis XV, but I can't work out the denomination of the coin. Does any one know what it is?

It weighs: 4.1g and its diameter is 24mm

R : Orléans mint
mintmaster : Jean Louis Guiquero
(there should be a lion's head on the coin, below the bust of Louis)
SIT.NOMEN.DOMINI.BENEDICTUM
LUD.VI.D.G.FR.ET.NAV.REX
Your coin is very worn off, so the weight of 4.1gr may be correct
here is how your coin should look
