Lovely addition muddler.

Believe you are now just seven shy of a complete type set of these amazing coins.

This IMHO happens to be one of the most enchanting coins in the classic silver set ... mainly for all the detail that William Marks Simpson (supported by his wife Marjorie) managed to pack into such a small diameter.
Truly ... how many USA coins have five dates on them ... and none the actual date of mintage (1937) ... how many have encouraged Latin language students ... in general ... how many are so darn 'busy'.

None I say ... so this Norfolk half holds a special place in my collecting mind.

What grade was the coin before it once again became a "free range" commem?
No fun there commems ... we should know the answer ... so I'll subject myself to public ridicule and loss of reputation by offering my opinion.

The cluttered devices and lack of field space has allowed most MS Norfolk to achieve lofty technical grades at any
TPG ... simply put the typical bag hits do not show up as they are obscured by all the devices.
This obverse is mostly clean less a few hits in the lettering of "NORFOLK" ... the reverse fields show a few minor scuffs and some hits about the mace ...
This was cracked from a PCGS MS66 holder.
