This is the other one I bought with the one posted yesterday.

Is that a wing clash on the inside of the top the wreath on the right?

I didn't realize the mylar was so dirty on the angle shots.

There isn't any significant damage except the scratches on the cheek.

That scratch on the cheek looks very severe.

This coin would get a details grade.

Are the hairline scratches on the reverse on the holder or the coin?

That clash is from the lower end of the obverse cap. An amazing amount of polishing on the reverse die, isn't there ?

That gouge on the cheek is a shame. It kills an otherwise solid MS64.

They're on the coin. I assume they were on the die. They aren't on top of the eagle just in the field.

I know. Took a gamble with the small pictures in the listing.

Wicked die polishing lines on the reverse. This has got to be one of the early strikes off that "freshened" die after the clash event. It's a D1 reverse, but that is as close as I can get to the VAM number.
It really is a shame that the obverse has that gash, otherwise it would be an MS63/64 coin.
