Long story short I had a few people wanting silver....I know a guy with a bunch of silver that wanted st gaudens....bought these 2 coins traded them to him for silver....sold the silver.....alot of work for $200 haha. What would you grade these 1908 No Motto   1927

MS-62 on the 08, MS-63 on the 27.

Both look MS63 to me. The obverse rays are pretty chewed up so 62 is possible if the luster is subdued but both do appear lustrous. Conversely, booming brilliant luster could push them to 64 but that's a stretch.

 Both no more than MS63 and maybe lower a point on the first one, due to lots of ticks, hits and nicks, but the booming luster just can't overcome them. I can't see either of these passing above a MS63 grade.

I think at least the 08 is overgrade. I would give it a 62. I would say that PCGS would grade it as a 62.
