Boy, I was way out there with my grade. That is one coin I would not pay MS63 prices for.

Agreed, dogs are available at a given grade for all series and toned vs. brilliant is not that large a factor in technical grading. I've owned thousands of Peace dollars over the years and several of them were 1921s. My point is to let collectors know they shouldn't pay MS money (which is significant) for sub-par pieces that a TPG put in an MS holder. Here's a PCGS MS61 that is worth full MS61 money.

Eye appeal is the major factor for me to purchase anything. Don't get hung up on the numbers on the slabs. There's more to it.
