Can't give you accurate grade based on 0.4MP photos, but it looks VG-F.

How old is/was your grandfather? This makes a big difference.
Assuming he gathered the coins from circulation his age determines the survival grade of the coins.
My dad was born in 1916 and his nickels were in rough shape.
My great aunt was born in 1900 and collected from her first job in her teens.
The difference in grades is staggering. And neither ever bought a coin.
"Tootsie's" Barbers were the foundation of my love affair with the series, and only because
many were in higher grades.

well these actually passed down from my great great grandfather who was born 1877 and then to my great grandfather who was born 1901 and then my grandfather who was born in 1930 and then were past down I only got a very small percent of the collection
