How much is a Flying Eagle cent worth right now. Let's just assume either an 1857 or 1858 in vg to fine condition. I have seen them all over the board, so I would like to know what you guys think. I really don't want to know what they book for, because we all know in the economy right now, it is hard-or it is at least hard for me- to sell a coin at book value. If you guys have sold one like this, what did you get for it?

I recently paid $72 for an ANACS VF25 1858 Lg Ltrs. Looking at Heritage auction sales in the past couple years, that is about the going rate for that grade and variety give or take $5.

Postage would be to much so I'll probably try using them in gum ball machines.

You would see me on the news. "Man steals gum ball machine and runs down street with it. Kid he body checked will recover."
